FEATURES OF NUST ENTRANCE TEST (NET)
NUST conducts NET at three locations, ie NUST Campus Islamabad, Karachi and Quetta. While at Islamabad Campus NET is conducted in computer-based format, in Karachi and Quetta the test is in paper-based format. The pattern and the standard of question papers for both types of tests is the same. Computer-based test is designed in accordance with the internationally practiced system, of on-line examinations. It is easy to attempt with minimal practice. Instructions to attempt computer-based entrance test along with mock test module will be available on NUST, website for guidance. The standard of test is that of HSSC level education aimed at evaluation of factual knowledge, comprehension and application. At Islamabad Campus, computer based entrance tests will be held in multiple series according to the following schedule: First Series (NET-1) - December 2013 Second Series (NET-2) - April - May 2014 Third Series (NET-3) - June - July 2014 In Karachi and Quetta, paper based entrance test will be conducted only once in July. Candidates can appear in entrance test more than once to improve their score with their, best score considered for admission. |
